Alumni

The Concert Band acknowledges and appreciates the extraordinary level of support from its alumni, including several who contribute directly by continuing to play in the Band. Perhaps this support should not be so surprising considering the group was founded as a result of student interest and has maintained itself as a primarily student and student-run musical group for over 50 years. Concert Band members and alumni of all ages were able to meet on stage for the Farewell Concert of longtime director John D. Corley in May 1999, and the musical experience was superb for all who played and all who attended. There is a Concert Band alumni mailing list.
